Worshipful Master Chris Smith

It seems like the year is moving by quickly, as the old saying goes time flies when your having fun.
I would like to thank this years officers for their continued support and good advice through the first half of my year in the east. As we approach our two months of darkness, I would like to remind the Brethren to check our calendar of events every month for our summer district activities, such as, outdoor degree on July 16th, District Picnic, date still undetermined and Past Masters Rummage Sale August 3-4th

I am hoping for a smokeless summer and looking forward to our return to lodge in September, until then my brethren..Part on the Square.

Plenty of activity reporting for Grants Pass Lodge May 2019
Dinner was provided by our Lodge’s Order of the Eastern Star May 7th. It was a tasty traditional fav’. A special gracious thank you for all the dinners you do for the Lodge. Grand District Deputy John Lohrfink gave us insight of our Oregon Grand Lodge, and some of the things that they are doing to promote Masonry in our district. I was impressed with the roll out over the last couple of years of the Grand View, an interactive website, as it takes shape on the Masonic story and message for those who are interested to learn more. It is important to me that we might or should become acquainted with this website. Good idea? Next, we did a Fellow Craft for Rick Webb who is looking up to be our Outdoor Master Mason Degree candidate for 2019. Welcome to a wonderful event - Great going Rick! And,
Ryan Smith has proved up for his Master Mason degree. Super and way to go Ryan... Thanks for taking time out of your schedule to come to the monthly stated meetings and give us updates on your career treks. And not to be forgotten, we are looking to Isaac Hamilton’s hard work for the promo and ticket drawing program marketing of a special rifle. Isaac is a promising new Master Mason who could take us to new levels of Masonry in sharing his experiences along the way.
I support each and every brother for their works, attendance in events, and continued extension of brotherly love. We together find a cohesive bond which was founded on the grip, word, and the principles in the obligation. Thank you brothers John Lorhfink, Rick Webb, Ryan Smith, and Isaac Hamilton for your part in Masonry. Each are important to the rest of our community and to our resolve
to be the best brother for each other. Welcome to your Lodge, a home in Masonry.
I wish all our brethren the best summer that 2019 will offer. See you in September...
