Brethren, Summer was busy! June was Grand Lodge; we had three lodge members and a couple of wives that attended. Congratulations to Most Worshipful Grand Master Myles McMillan. Our Lodge building did not have a very good summer, in July we were vandalized four different days. The glass doors and sidelights were broken. They have now been replaced. But there is still some clean up work to be done. Wouldn’t it be great if everyone could learn to subdue their passions? In July the Outdoor Degree was held, Congratulations to Isaac Hamilton on being raised to Master Mason. Thank you to all who attend it was a nice evening with dinner, degree and an impressive ceremony retiring several lamb skin aprons done by Jon Torbert. The summer ended with a very successful Past Master’s Rummage sale. A big thank you to Greg Gilbert and his crew, job well done! Thank you to all that donated items. Thank you all those that staffed the ID trailer this summer at the Frog O Fair, Pet Parade in Cave Junction and the back to school at Parkway Christian Church. Also a big Thank You to those that keep this trailer stocked and computers working. The Job’s Daughters will be holding an initiation on Sept. 23, time to be announced. Please come support our youth. The girls had an exciting fun time attending Supreme Session outside of Philadelphia come hear their stories. Back to labor soon see you then. And Part, On the Square |
