December 2017

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday. December is here and 2017 will be over soon. Where did the year go? I was told that the older you get the faster time goes. Well, I guess they are right.

My year as Master went by much faster than I thought it would. Looking back we got some things done; six dinners and several degrees. I would have liked to do more degrees but did not have the petitions coming in. We bought new chairs for the dinning room they sure make that room look better. My officer line was GREAT a lot of help to get me though the year THANK YOU BRETHREN!

We still have some things to do in December. We have a Christmas dinner on the 12th. Brother Chris Smith has a nice dinner lined up. This is the evening we celebrate our Brethren that have done outstanding things for our lodge. We will be presenting awards and the Job’s Daughters will have their annual bake sale. There will also be a gift exchange, women bring a women’s gift, men a men’s with a $20 limit, please join the fun. Please RSVP to me if you will be bringing children so we can make sure they all receive a gift. Please come join a fun evening of fellowship and share the Christmas joy.

On the 19th, we will go caroling to a couple of nursing homes. We have invited the Job’s Daughters and DeMolay to join us. Please invite family and friends to join us. After caroling we will return to the lodge to share in a warm meal.

Thanks for a great year.

And Part,
On The Square
