“Brothers how goes the hour?”

My Brothers,

I reach out to each of you for your attention about our Masonic Home. I’m talking about our Lodge building and its needs. At the installation and meetings after, I mentioned projects that have been in our planning for a while. It is time to make the next move and perform on our planning. First, I want to commend the TRUSTEES who have taken the lead in promising their time which benefits our Fraternity. Steve Booth, Greg Gilbert and Jon Torbert. Without these important positions, not much can be done that keeps our facility in an inviting appearance that welcomes our community’s review. They proudly rent the building which supplies needed income.

Brothers, your continued support surrounding our facility appearance and maintenance issues remains your duty and obligation for financial and, if possible, all hands-on deck physical work. Please don’t be timid to ask what you can do. I am ready to take your call. But if I am unavailable, you can always leave your message at the lodge phone number with Brother Secretary, Tren Acton. (541) 476-3357. But, my Brothers, remember I am focused on helping our Lodge attract attention to our fraternity and its meaning. It is not just your quiet good Masonic walk but your ENTHUSIASM in Masonry that will be discovered.

On another note, I want to welcome our newest Fellow Craft – Darren Anselm who is already looking to prove up as soon as possible and have his Mater Mason Degree. Also, our newest Master Mason Chris Ford is looking to prove up on the Master Mason Degree and be installed as our Junior Steward for the remaining of 2020. Congratulations to both brothers for their dedication to their growth in themselves through our Masonic Traditions.

For our February Stated meeting we will have a ham dinner. Ham, potatoes, salad, bread. Brother David Jones will be using his wife Kate's special recipe (if she lets him) and will surprise us with dessert. Please let's make this well attended. Brother Jones works very hard to prepare a high quality dinner.

On February 11th the Order of Eastern Star will be preparing a “SweetHeart” dinner consisting of spaghetti, salad, French bread (with Italian food?) and chocolate cake for dessert. Please text my cell (541 226-7976), call my cell and leave a message, or email Let's have good attendance; this is a family and friends dinner.
